Anna Eppinger, BA, CBEST, IECA Member

As a true Bay Area native growing up in San Francisco, Anna went through the parochial educational path from Star of the Sea Elementary School to St. Rose Academy. Her high school graduating class had 78 students and the intimate environment was nurturing; yet, she wanted to explore something different for college. She chose UCLA where she studied History and Business and graduated with a BA degree. To say she loved UCLA is an understatement. College changed Anna and paved the way for adulthood. Daily experiences shaped her persona--from meeting interesting classmates and professors to having internships for different industries to being a part of a sorority to working several summers at Bruin Woods, UCLA’s Alumnae Resort. This passion for the college experience influenced the development of ECC.

For nearly 20+ years, Anna’s professional career surrounded marketing and sales. Anna sold advertising and later managed advertising sales teams for radio properties in San Francisco to include KNBR, Alice Radio, STAR 101.3 and KKSF. Later she ran a community speakers series in Sacramento with her husband, Andy, for 6 years featuring high profile figures from politics to the arts. Eventually, family needed her more, so Anna left the corporate world to manage her family’s busy schedules. She became active in her Lafayette community through school PTAs, Lafayette Juniors, sports organizations and eventually as a substitute teacher. After being a teacher for the last few years, her calling to become an Independent Educational Consultant stemmed from working and advising her own children and her friends’ children through the high school and college process. Thus, ECC was formed!
